Experience, Passion and Creativity
When I was in my teens I used to watch The Woodwrights Shop on PBS. Roy Underhill became a living legend in my mind. I was hooked. That show, and Norm Abrahams of The New Yankee Workshop, cemented my desire to eventually make it a career and not just a hobby. Today I am realizing that fine, custom woodworking dream with my wood shop in my beautiful timber frame barn.
Custom Woodworking Process
Each custom furniture or wood piece is designed to fit the space and according to your requests. I start with a consultation to find out what you're looking for. Then, I will send you design sketches, and we'll work together to finalize a design in a wood species you love. I have a good supply of both Hardwood/Softwood Lumber. Then, I get to building!
Hollis Millwork Guarantee
I am not into volume. I am into taking the time necessary to build custom wood pieces that will become family heirlooms. I use much of the Hardwood/Softwood Lumber I mill at my facility. I stand behind my work. If there are any workmanship issues, I will fix them.
